We Seek to Prevent and End Hunger and Food Insecurity

The Leo and Peggy Pierce Family Foundation seeks to prevent and end hunger and food insecurity in the five-county Philadelphia region and Indian River County, FL through grants and investments.

Message to our Non-Profit Partners

Never is leadership more necessary than when our core values and common humanity are threatened. In this time of tremendous financial uncertainty for non-profits and local government, The Leo and Peggy Pierce Family Foundation stands with our non-profit partners and remains committed to supporting their work to promote wellbeing and equal access to resources for all.

We affirm our commitment to the principles of equity, inclusion and diversity. Equity means treating everyone fairly and providing equal opportunities to all. Inclusion means creating an environment in which people from all backgrounds can freely express their ideas and perspectives. Diversity embraces the differences everyone brings to the table irrespective of whether that involves race, age, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability or other aspects of social identity. Diversity in organizations leads to better decision making and outcomes. It helps create a more just society where everyone has an opportunity to succeed.

Now is the time to lean into these principles.
