The Foundation makes grants to support activities that address hunger and food insecurity through direct service programs and/or advocacy efforts. Grants are made to organizations that are tax exempt under the IRS Code 501 (c)(3) as well as public charities under IRS Code 509(a).

Types of support: The Foundation's focus is the five-county Philadelphia region.*

Application Deadlines

Application deadlines are January 15 (for consideration at April board meeting) and July 15 (for consideration at October board meeting).
Organizations may not apply for funding more than once in a 12 month period. Receipt of a grant does not imply future support.

Grant recipients must provide a detailed narrative and financial report on how the grant was spent within one year of receiving the grant.
